iPhone 6S freezes after unlock

Hi all,


I received my iPhone 6S 128GB silver today and I have a problem with it:


When unlocking via fingerprint (which is very fast!!!) the home screen freezes.

So, it unlocks normally, the home screen with all apps shows up but then freezes.

It happens every 2nd or 3rd time I unlock my phone and when the standard home screen shows up.


It freezes for 5-6 second and no matter what I do, the phone doesn't show any reaction - even pushing the home button or the on-off-button.

I restarted the phone several times, "normal" and also restart with "home- & on/off-button"...


Is anyone of you having same issues?

Well, after doing my own exhaustive testing and troubleshooting, I am convinced that this screen freeze issue is not a software issue. I had this problem on my first 6+ a couple months ago. I had had the phone for almost a year when it started. I had it replaced by Apple, and the first replacement phone started doing the same thing (plus screen flicker) within 24 hours of having it... lol Then Apple replaced it again and now this 3rd device is doing it after a month. If you hold the corners and push in the center of the back of the phone, it works. If you do the opposite, (hold the corners and push on the center of the screen) it freezes.


I'm done. It's been a long run I've had with the iPhone, but I'm jumping back to the other side and going to the Nexus 6P. Looking at fi.google.com!!

Date is Friday, February 5th.

Freezing after unlock has not stopped (With touch ID or no touch ID) since the day I have bought my Silver 128GB 6S with a Samsung chip (4 months ago).

Have tried over 30 restores (Have set it up as new and have tried setting up from backup). The phone has been bought from the Swizz provider "Sunrise" in an airport in Zurich.

Have tried the newest iOS beta, literally NOTHING works.

I am not sure if I will be able to switch out the phone for a new one because I am from Europe, and in my country there is only an iStyle store that is associated with Apple, they are an Apple reseller company.
It is worth mentioning that I also got a 16GB Space Gray 6S from the exact same place with a Samsung chip and that phone does not have ANY of the issues. Can confirm this is an issue with only the 128GB version of the phone.

Does anyone know what I should do?

I am interested to hear any input on this question? So far none of the updates I have downloaded have done anything. I managed to get my phone to work fairly good after two dozen restores and fresh setups. I am not updating my phone ever again until I know there is a concrete fix. If anyone has the new public beta and it corrected this issue please let us know!
