iPhone 6S freezes after unlock

Hi all,

I received my iPhone 6S 128GB silver today and I have a problem with it:

When unlocking via fingerprint (which is very fast!!!) the home screen freezes.

So, it unlocks normally, the home screen with all apps shows up but then freezes.

It happens every 2nd or 3rd time I unlock my phone and when the standard home screen shows up.

It freezes for 5-6 second and no matter what I do, the phone doesn't show any reaction - even pushing the home button or the on-off-button.

I restarted the phone several times, "normal" and also restart with "home- & on/off-button"...

Is anyone of you having same issues?

cheers

Can confirm the same issue. I did NOT restore from backup, it was a clean install. Iphone 6s 64GB space grey.

I came here to write the exact same thing, the touch sensor is wicked fast, but every few times, I get a 2-5 second "freeze" on the home screen. Occationally I'll be able to hit an app before it freezes, and then it is jumpy in the app for a few seconds.

My friend just got his and complains about the same thing.

It's annoying the **** out of me now... mine is going back tomorrow, I've just printed a return label off for it. This so disappointing, last year I had to return two iPhone 6 phones because the first wouldn't connect to any networks and the second was sending people straight to my answerphone and had terrible sound quality during calls. If I wasn't buried so deep in the apple ecosystem I would have left last year. 😠😠😠

Mine was sent back this afternoon, I also noticed that the battery was draining quickly today. This is the last time I'm putting up with this crap. If I have problems with the next one, regardless of whether they are hardware or software issues, then I'm sending it straight back and getting a windows phone so i can get out of this stupid cycle every time apple release a new phone or OS.

I am also having this issue with a new 6S 128gb Space Grey, restored from backup. I have also noticed Siri does not respond as well. For example, when plugged in sitting on the night stand, ask Siri a question after the screen goes to lock and no response. Other iPhones have always responded quickly. Doesn't happen all the time, but frequently. What's your guys guess, a software patch or is this a device issue and should I return for a replacement?

If this is your first iPhone I'd say go back to android or what ever OS you came from because these kinds of problems with iPhones are not uncommon. But if you have purchased lots of apps like I have then it's your call. If you don't mind starting over with all your apps and games then go to android. This is just my opinion though, some people don't have any problems with iphones. I on the other hand have had nothing but problems since the iPhone 5
