iPhone 6s Plus lag iOS 9.0.1

I'm using a 128GB iPhone 6s Plus (AT&T). Screen is unresponsive from waking the device after it's been locked for a considerable amount of time. It takes about 3-5 seconds before it finally starts to respond to touch. Can't go into any app or change home screens during this short period. After it starts launching and switching apps very quick and snappy but this happens a lot right out of the box. Another repeating issue is navigating the settings menu. The selection hangs for a bit before advancing to the next screen. Who else is experiencing this? Wasn't there a public beta? Come on Apple fix this.

Having the exact same issue on this end.

iPhone 6S, 64GB, iOS 9.1.

Experiencing both the unlocking lag ánd the delayed appearing of carrier name, signal strength indicator, etc.

Restarting the phone (several times) does not resolve this issue.

Would really prefer not to do a factory reset at this point.

(Haven't experienced this issue even once on my 32GB 5S)

I joined the support forums simply to rely to this specific issue. I have never had any issues that a simple restore didn't fix, but now I'm having this EXACT issue on my iPhone 6 plus 16gb. Home button and power button taps will lag to wake up my home, and when I use the home button to wake, siri is automatically activated, even though I've not pressing, simply a press. Its annoying because I try to reach the music control buttons on the wake screen but siri is initiated 9 times out of 10.

It's ironic considering I had no issues with 9.1 while on the public beta, but now that I've installed the actual release, I'm having more issues.

Please note I'm having these issues with an iPhone 6 plus running 9.1

There's no fix for this problem. I've seen some people report of managing to get rid of the lag by continuously restoring the phone over and over again until it no longer lags, but that is a ludicrous solution, especially since it can come back at any time.

We have to wait on Apple for a fix. Unfortunately I've read 9.2 won't fix it.
