iPhone 6 Glass Screen Protectors do not work on 6s

Picked up my new iPhone 6s on Friday. Always have used glass screen protectors on all my iPhones. Currently have the Zagg HD Glass on my work phone (iPhone 6 Plus). Anyway, picked up new 6s, grabbed a Zagg Invisible Shield HD Glass protector. Went to apply it, and it will not seat the entire edge of the device. About 1/4" in from the edge towards the center, it leaves about 1/4" gap where you can visibly see the glass protector has not seated the glass all the way.

Long story short, 6 screen protectors later, tried using an off brand at the kiosk at a local mall, (made for iPhone 6), and same deal. Was at the Apple store earlier, and told that the glass in the 6s is the same exact curvature as the 6. Went back to the Apple store later that day, was told the curvature is completely different.

The gentleman who sold me the off brand protector at the mall kiosk said he had the same exact issue with a customer earlier that day, had them return the phone (6s) for a new one and he was able to apply the protector no problem. At this point I walked into the Apple store and was told that the curvature is different and need to wait for new protectors spec'd to fit the 6s.

I know Zagg makes the Glass Luxe for the 6s, but I am not a fan of the colors.

My question is, can anyone confirm the curvature of the glass is in fact different than the 6? I've applied numerous Zagg Glass protectors on my 6 and never has this issue.

You posted completely off topic, against the Terms of Service you agreed to so most likely the hosts deleted it.

"The people" want screen protectors that fit. That is the topic of this thread.

If they wanted a new device, they would (likely) get one.

The rest of your post I don't know what it means.

You have a good grasp of the English language but a lot is lost in translation.

Perhaps post in your native language and we could understand it a bit better.

Because there appear to be an upper corners sinking - upper left and right corners - in the screen: three different protectors presented the same fitting failure.

Obviously Apple shall check this screen defect before replacing, but will do if proceeds. The process could take about 15 days.

Unless flat surface of the new screen is wider then design, screen replacing would result in the current defect: all the tempered glass protectors will not touch the screen all around its edges a band about 2 mm wide. Anyway, it's kind better than the actual situation.

On Dec. 18th I received my iPhone 6s, and having used ZAGG products in the past, immediately ordered their HD Glass Screen Protector. Unfortunately, I didn’t come across this thread until Dec. 28th, at which time I emailed ZAGG’s CEO, Randall ‘Randy’ Hales, in which I referenced this thread.

That said, on Dec 29th I received the following response from ZAGG:

“Thank you for emailing ZAGG! Our ZAGG Executive Team has read your email and has requested I respond on their behalf. My name is [deleted] and I appreciate the opportunity to assist you. I understand that you are concerned about the InvisibleShield Glass you are receiving for your Apple iPhone 6s. We have not made any changes to the InvisibleShield. If you have trouble with this InvisibleShield we can definitely change to a different InvisibleShield. We appreciate your feedback. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”

Upon receiving my HD Glass today, Dec. 30th, I registered and installed the protector, and as MALAVE M and others have noted, the edges DID NOT seal properly with the screen. As such, I called the local ZAGG Kiosk, and to my shock was told that this issue occurs in roughly 50% of the HD Glass installations on the iPhone 6s, which either ZAGG is not aware of, or is simply ignoring.

In view of the foregoing, I again emailed ZAGG’s CEO, and not only informed him of the issue with my iPhone 6s, but also referenced FRED BARKER’s post regarding ANKER’s Glass Screen Protector being sold on Amazon, that states “Not compatible with iPhone 6’s”. I even attached a copy of the Amazon ad for both the 6s and 6s Plus, with that statement highlighted. Additionally, I included the link to ANKER’s website, which by the way does not list any Glass Screen Protectors for either 6s model.

In short, ANKER, unlike ZAGG, immediately took action to alert their retailers of the situation, and apparently have pulled any statements on their website that the Glass Protector is compatible with both models.

I’m waiting to hear back from ZAGG, and will be visiting the local kiosk to have the HDX installed, as there have been no issues with that product and the 6s or 6s Plus, at least according to the employee or owner I spoke with.

Before anyone goes running off to MacRumor’s, AppleInsider etc., let’s wait and see what sort of response is forthcoming from ZAGG.

so what do you mean?the 3rd party for tempered glass is not the same as apple store online tempered glass?i dont think so, i think the upper right and left screen of 6s is not that flat as in the bottom,i've been observing it when i tried 5 tempered glass, spigen, zagg, icarez and panzerglass has a minimal top right and left that is not properly adhere to the screen and the bottom (home button area) is perfectly sealed but tech armor is the worst, you can see the long air gap from top to bottom on the right side.

As I've already told, if you want you can See my posts from Dec 14, 2015 2:09 AM and Dec 20, 2015 5:22 AM. There are not only the full Apple iPhone 6 and 6s product outer format specifications, including dimensional drawings, but, also, photos and a dimensional analysis.

There are no design differences between the formats of the screen upper and lower portions.

Also, if you analyse carefully this content, you're gonna understand the true issue users are facing.
