iPhone 6 Glass Screen Protectors do not work on 6s

Picked up my new iPhone 6s on Friday. Always have used glass screen protectors on all my iPhones. Currently have the Zagg HD Glass on my work phone (iPhone 6 Plus). Anyway, picked up new 6s, grabbed a Zagg Invisible Shield HD Glass protector. Went to apply it, and it will not seat the entire edge of the device. About 1/4" in from the edge towards the center, it leaves about 1/4" gap where you can visibly see the glass protector has not seated the glass all the way.

Long story short, 6 screen protectors later, tried using an off brand at the kiosk at a local mall, (made for iPhone 6), and same deal. Was at the Apple store earlier, and told that the glass in the 6s is the same exact curvature as the 6. Went back to the Apple store later that day, was told the curvature is completely different.

The gentleman who sold me the off brand protector at the mall kiosk said he had the same exact issue with a customer earlier that day, had them return the phone (6s) for a new one and he was able to apply the protector no problem. At this point I walked into the Apple store and was told that the curvature is different and need to wait for new protectors spec'd to fit the 6s.

I know Zagg makes the Glass Luxe for the 6s, but I am not a fan of the colors.

My question is, can anyone confirm the curvature of the glass is in fact different than the 6? I've applied numerous Zagg Glass protectors on my 6 and never has this issue.

After reading this thread about the whole glass screen protector issues, I was a little nervous about purchasing one since one that is more affordable hadn't been found yet. So I saw that Fred saw that Anker had supposedly fixed the issue and he said he had order it at that time. So I figured id take a chance with it as well, so I bought it from this link on Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014ZQXMHC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_deta ilpage_o00_s00). Well it worked great for me and fits all the way around my phone with no air bubble gaps on the side! At first it wasn't perfect and it didn't look like it was going to connect on the sides, but then I pushed down on the sides and it begin to seal so I held my finger there firmly for about 10 seconds and it stuck! Although I'm seeing that Fred know says his from Anker didn't work, so I don't know what the deal is...but mine did work for me. Hope this helps some of you, seems like Anker has a 50/50 chance right now.

Same here. Waited and ordered the Anker 6S glass screen protector and get a gap all around the edges (and I can't get rid of it even if I press hard as you can see beneath my thumb in the photo).

I emailed them and waiting to hear back -- it seems weird they would wait so long to produce a 6S-specific protector and it still doesn't fit.

I should also mention I've tried and returned the Spigen 6/6S (yeah right) glass protector and the Omoton glass protector as well -- all have this issue.

Hi all

I've installed a Spigen full cover glass for my iPhone 6s but the result is awful .

The side remain visibly detached from the screen and also top right corner is not attached whit a visible bubble.

Very frustrated because the look and feeling it's very good but my eyes goes everytime to these imperfections.

I've tried also to reapply it but nothing change .
Waiting to see if the new Cupert Cinder will solve this problem.

Just received my Cinder in the mail today. Amazing screen protector, but the edge air bubble is still there. Any luck with yours?

I'M having the same problem with the Zagg HD invisishield. I'm on my 4th one now and it doesn't fit, the same problem as the others they don't seal around the edges. Watch out if you purchase the screen at Beat Buy as I did, after being told that I can return the product if there's any problems. When I went to return it I was told they don't accept returns for these products and then was told that I didn't properly put it on correct. The insinuation was I didn't know what I was doing, but she did because she's trained and applies them all the time. So I paid the $7.99 to have her apply the screen for me and after 5 screens she don't know what she was doing either. I did get a full refund. I then contacted Zagg and was told that they have heard of this issue a few times and called it a Halo effect, so if I register my screen they can send me my warranty replacement and replace it with the hdx screen. Zagg did state they are working to correct the issue.

I have the same problem, extended to the body silicon protectors, and have reported it on the Community.

The curve surface all around the iPhone 6s screen is bigger than the iPhone 6 one, than the screen plane surface is smaller, so the required glass protector must be smaller.

Additionally, the iPhone 6s body thickness is bigger than the iPhone 6 one and the silicon body protectors dont't cover their edge adecuatelly.

All the shops I've asked about told me they don't have peculiar glass screen or silicon body protectors for iPhone 6s, so there is not a solution until adecuate ones are launched.

I think Apple have to give a solution in rush basis.

Sir, before, You’d told "It isn't Apple's problem since Apple does make screen protectors for iPhones." - I know you meant "doesn't make". Now, You meant something different. Anyway, be sure I know something about equipments and their accessories manufacturers relationships, not only if they are full trade partners as in the case we’re talking about, do you?

By the way I'd like to know people's experiences with the glass screen protectors http://screenprotectors.co.uk/shop/iphone/iphone-6s-curved-screen-tempered-glass -screen-protector/. Someone could help?

No, I do not mean "something different". And none of the screen protector manufacturers are "full trade partners". They merely make accessories for the devices (and they already have those specs, so as stated it is not Apple's job to alter the accessories, it is up to the manufacturers of the accessories).

I'm having the same issue. I'm using MyScreen Diamond FlexiGlass screen protector at the moment. I'm no fan of screen protectors anyway. Any time I buy a new phone, I use one for a couple of months then I throw them away. However, with my Android phone which is a Samsung Galaxy S4, I can clearly see a lot of small scratches on the screen when looking under direct sunlight. I mean how's that even possible since the company claims that GORILLA Glass is scratch resistant? Shall I stick with screen protectors for my iPhone?

BTW I haven't seen a screen protector which does not degrade display quality slightly and this makes me sick of them.
