For the last week or two, I've been virtually unable to stream Apple Music over AT&T LTE in southeastern Wisconsin. Everything else is super fast. A Speedtest routinely shows I can get 20Mbps. I thought maybe it was on Apple's end, but I never have I have trouble over WiFi. I do not have "High Quality over Cellular" enabled, though I'm kind of annoyed I can't even try it! Anyone else having issues? Any theories?
I wouldn't be surprised one bit if AT&T is throttling Apple Music. I too am one who "allegedly" has an unlimited data plan. Yet I get texts messages warning of slow down after just 3gb of data have been used. It is very frustrating as I am an apple music subscriber and feel like a chump for spending the cash on something I cant even use consistently. I don't want to be a social vagrant blaming 'the throttling pirates" but it is what it is. I too am out of Tampa Florida.

Works fine as soon as I connect to Wifi. Issue definitely started before iOS9 as I was hoping it would fix it. Pretty sure it's just AT&T being AT&T. Speedtest, youtube anything else works perfectly fine on LTE, but Apple Music is a no go.
Same here. ATT in Chicagoland. Problems with iOS9.
With LTE or 4G Apple Music is completely worthless. Radio doesn't work. Playing selected songs from searches doesn't work.
WiFi, everything works perfectly.
Spotify works perfectly though...
I Have been having similar problems. I do think it seemed to start around ios9, but now that I've upgraded to a 6s it seems to be worse. I have a very hard time getting music to play at all. And when it does work it's only for a few seconds. It's getting frustrating! Has anyone contacted Apple regarding this? It is my next move because I'm getting tired of my iPhone not playing music. Im currently on a 15gb mobile share plan with AT&T. I've never had a problem in the past, streaming over cellular for hours at a time. I'm experiencing problems in the Orlando, FL area and also West Palm.
if this is an AT&T issue, it isn't because they're throttling. I can't get one song to play for more than a few seconds and it will either stop completely or skip to the next song...
I am on a grandfathered ATT "unlimited" data plan in Chicago. I see so many people on this thread with similar issues. But still no definitive answer?
Having same issue here in Orlando, FL, started right around iOS9 release. Apple Music on AT&T LTE cutting out when trying to stream. Beats One works fine for some reason. I'm on AT&T mobile share, iOS9, iPhone 6S, and it cuts out both when using carplay and bluetooth. When I turn off LTE and use 4G the problem goes away. Fix it apple!!!
So it seems this is not just Apple Music. I wasn't aware but I'm also having issues downloading apps over LTE too!
Cedar Rapids, Iowa here. Same problem. Pandora? No problem. Spotify? No problem. Apple Music now stutters after about one song while out and about in the car. Once I'm connected to wifi, it's functions perfectly.
Yet still no clear info on whether this is AT&T or Apple's issue! I noticed several posts about this on AT&T's Twitter, but they only ask everyone to DM them.
Same thing here in Omaha - been like this for about a week and getting really frustrated with it. Glad to know it's not just me - I'll be switching to spotify until at&t or apple gets this figured out and fixed.
