Error connecting to the Apple ID server
I can't connect to iCloud from my Macbook Pro... All my files are useless as well as applications that uses iCloud such as iTunes

Did you check to make sure that the date and time is correct on your device?
Same issue. For Symentec Endpoint Protection users, add iTunes.Ink in Exceptions (configure Settings) in Change Settings main menu.
What will i exactly be doing... i am a Kaspersky user, am i to edit some setting in it or some setting on the firewall?
Uninstall Kapersky. Its tends to interfere with the computer's operation while providing minimal to no benefit.
I run Avast security and the problem went away when I went into Preferences/Web Shield and selected "Scan secured connections from browsers only".
i just installed iTunes 12.7 up till now i had to click on the Radio to force itunes to connect to Apple Music now.. i cannot even log into the Apple ID server to access my Apple Music

I had this same problem and use Avast security, added "icloud.com" with "https" service in the excluded servers in Web Shield and the problem is resolved
I owe you so many beers! I've spent days on different fora looking for a solution to this and tried countless things. Finally I can use my Mac again!
Unfortunately it didn't help me. Even if I turn off all protection (avast, firewall) I can't login to iCloud. However, login from browser, and the iTunes works. It's a shame
