i just updated to ios 9.0.2 and siri is not working

Spent an hour and a half with Apple Support via Chat then the phone. After many attempts to fix (reset network, reset all settings, full restore), the answer was, "It's a known issue that will be fixed in a future iOS update."

Thanks for the feedback link! I most definitely used it! Siri has lost intelligence (spells horribly, inserts the wrong word(s)). Siri also does not listen properly. I asked Siri to play music and it acted like the music would play and then did nothing. Traffic is frustrating enough, I don't need a buggy update to add to my frustration.

I guess I should count myself lucky. Since updating to 9.02..... I can tell Siri 2 dial a number, And it does.

Then I tell Siri, at the conclusion of that call, to dial another number....... And it does.

At the conclusion of that call I tell Siri to dial another number, and while it says at the top of my screen "what can I help you with?" ...... There is no active line at the bottom of the screen to indicate this series is recognizing a voice command. And, of course, Siri produces no reaction.

"OK Google does hear and respond to my voice commands and hence I can only assume there is no microphone issue.

In addition since downloading and installing 9.0, 9.01, and 9.02 speakerphone calls suddenly change to non-speakerphone calls mid-conversation without my touching the screen. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have exactly the same problem as you describe. Hope this corrected quickly!

I also have the same issues since 9.0.2. The 9.1 upgrade made no difference. No joy on resetting network settings, soft resets, siri on/off, and etc..

I should note that mic works with both the Memo app and FaceTime. Siri also works fine when a headset is connected (with mic).

Same here. 9.1 made no difference on my 6. 😕

Not sure what changed but Siri lives. Check to make sure you have a connection with the apple store. All Siri requests are now handled by an apple server.

Still no luck over here; even after a factory reset. Got on support with apple chat, and i will soon be on my way to an apple store for service. Must be a bigger issue...

PLugin the power cable and check . Only 6 and 6s run hey siri without power cable plugged in.

I Turned off wifi assist and Siri started working. Settings, cellular, scroll to the bottom and make sure Wifi Assist is off.

Turned off wifi assist nothing for me....
