i just updated to ios 9.0.2 and siri is not working

Try shutting off Siri and then picking a different voice. I think I had my phone off either right before or after. Maybe I turned off wifi as welll for a bit after turning off wifi assist.

Updated to 9.2.1 and neither Siri nor dictation works, though speaker calls and voice memos work. Some online videos say that the a cable/front camera/ microphone combo is to blame! Please fix this apple! I've tried all the suggestions here with no luck.

I tried everything... Latest upgrade, Resets, off/on, changing different voice, etc, etc., went through every scenario. It only worked when ear buds were plugged in and or through bluetooth in my car. Finally tried blowing compressed air into the mic area, as well as the ear bud hole... And BAM, Its started working. Not sure if that helps anyone else, but it fixed mine. Maybe just a little dust particles blocking it? Best of luck to you all!

Same here...updated to latest os and viola...no voice to text or siri without headphones...great job apple! For what this thing cost, my opinion, not worth it and there are other options out there.

I've tried all the suggestions within similar threads and no luck for me.

Apple Support suggests it's a software problem, but after several months of this being reported on user groups, it's shocking that there is no fix yet for this problem.
