Window Size Problem with El Capitan

Since upgrading to El Capitan, Microsoft Outlook will not remember it's window size after I close and reopen, or quit and restart the program.

This problem did not occur with any previous operating systems.

Please help....

I've bootcamped both my Macs, and with Office 365 you can install on upto 5 devices for £80/$99 a year, so I've got both Mac and Windows versions. The Outlook 2016 for Mac version has a lot less features than Windows. I note that earlier posts also referred to continuing sizing problems with Outlook 2016 but I've got my fingers crossed....

I updated two old Mac Towers from Snow Leopard to Yosemite, then to the current version of El Capitan (10.11.16). Both have Outlook 2011 installed on them, and both have Outlook updated to 14.7.4. One of the computers has the intermittent Outlook window problem, and the other computer never has the problem no matter what happened with Outlook.

I received a suggestion from the Microsoft Support Community, to create a new email user account and see if that fixed the problem.

That seemed to fix it, but after a short time (a few hours) the problem returned.

To be more precise, it is an intermittent problem. Sometimes the window size remains as it should, other times it shrinks down to a much smaller size for no reason.

Anyone else having this issue?

It isn't just with restoring window after close, this also happens to me on a secondary display when I try to maximize the window using an app like Moom, BetterTouchTool, SnapTool or Customize Layout. it only happens on one display of the three external displays I have plugged into my MBPro 15 retina. But, it automatically resizes to a smaller height. The width seems fine. I've disabled all my login items To test. This also happens if I just try to resize the window by mouse double arrow. So, it is most likely not a 3rd party app that is causing this. Any ideas?
