Email Drafts have no Content

Hi,

My exchange email account is having issue with the drafts saved on the phone. I have an iPhone 6 and spent a considerable amount of time last night writing 20 draft emails on my phone. When I went to send them this morning they are showing as 'message has no content'.

There are also some drafts which show content when listed in the drafts folder but are blank when I open them. It appears to be affecting my exchange account primarily. I tried to search through the forums but I can't seem to find another person with the problem. It seems to happen with emails in the inbox but not drafts.

I'd really like to not have to re-do all my emails again,

Thanks,

Iain

I Am having the same problem - I rely heavily on using drafts and am dismayed that so much work is potentially lost. What is the solution?

I have this issue with my mail drafts going blank too. Happens on my iPhone 6. Never happend on my iPhone 5.

Anyone else have this happen while Battery is on "Low Power Mode"?

Is the iPad mini user having problems with this have a cellular or 3G connection or wifi only?

Is it related to editing while on Wifi and then reopening draft after moving beyond that wifi router or switching to cellular data?

My office IT guy told me the following... "Exchange ActiveSync, the technology that allows iPhone/Exchange connectivity, does not support the syncing of the Drafts folder. I have read this feature will be added in the next released version which will be Exchange 2016." Okay... Does this make any sense to anyone? Is it just a compatibility issue between Apple's mail app and the Exchange server?

It doesn't seem to happen to drafts on my Gmail account using the same app. Anyone have their drafts go blank like this using something other than an Exchange mail server?

I Am having this exact issue. Some emails are sent but then appear in the sent folder as having no content. The addressee receives nothing. Today I even had the content of an email I just sent appear in the sent folder copy of an email sent three weeks ago addressed to an unrelated person. The message pane said the sent message had no content and the addressee never received it. I have tried all the suggested solutions.

This is clearly a major flaw in a basic Apple system. Email is hardly a peripheral add on! Does Apple have a place where they acknowledge issues like this and say what is being done or do they just sit back and let their customers squirm ad infinitum?
