Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM205 fw doesn't work saying "filter failed" under OS X El Capitan (10.11)

I have just upgraded to OS X El Capitan (10.11). Then the printer I use (Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM205 fw) keeps saying that "filter failed" and hence the printing job is always stopped, as shown in the screen shot below.

I checked with the Fuji Xerox company website and found that DocuPrint CM205 fw does have known issues with OS X 10.11, but it says that "New drivers and software will be released to support the affected DocuPrint products with OS X 10.11. The current timeframe for new drivers and software to resolve these known issues is for December 2015."

So does it mean that I have to wait until December??????? How about my work that needs to be done during the long period?

Could you just give me some advice? Please feel free to speak your opinions. Thank you.

Hi Ragnorak13, this worked fine for me and seems to have worked for Thommo2617.

Without understanding what you did, I can only say it worked fine for me.

All I can say is make sure you follow the steps exactly as they are written and ensure you downloaded the correct driver for your Printer - the driver I was referring to was the driver for the DocuPrint M205 FW.

If you followed the steps as written and have the correct driver, there could possibly be another problem with you machine.

That being said, obviously, this driver won't work with different printer models. If you would like to provide the exact steps you took and screenshots, maybe I and / or others on this forum can assist you.
