That’s not true. That doesn’t work. Don’t you think everyone tried clearing their browsers or resetting their phone? DID NOT WORK. And no it’s not always something the users did. Why do you have to be so rude. If you can’t help then move on.

Disagreeing with you or telling you something you don't like is not "rude". And Lawrence's advice is correct. Whether or not you intended to visit a compromised site is not the point. No one sets out to step in a puddle or stub their toe. It's still not anyone else's fault.

Being condescending is rude. Period. Again, it didn’t work. As many have already said. No one asked for, or needs, opinions. They just want help with their phones. Nothing more. Also, again, if you can’t help then just move on. No one needs lessons in what they MIGHT have done wrong.

No one is being condescending. And yes, sometimes our problems are, at least in part, the result of something we did. The important thing is to learn from our mistakes.

Hi, Thank you. Yes, of course I blocked pop-ups. The you have won message appears when you open safari, or type in any address. It does not appear as a pop-up, as those are blocked, but rather any HTTP address typed in the address bar is redicted to this, your have won an amazon... message

It simply redirects anything that is in the address bar to the offending page.

Actually scratch that, dolphin and chrome we’re working fine before, but now that I reopened Safari and trade all of the stuff that you asked me to do, for some reason now Dolphin and chrome are redirecting to that Amazon message 😢

You may be annoyed but your anger at Apple is misdirected.

I have Adblock installed but I keep turning it off because it blocks you from visiting all kinds of sites you want to go to. Basically if you google something and then try to visit one of the sites that comes up, Adblock will prevent you from going there. So it’s annoying.

No permanent solutions have been posted, only temporary fixes. Most of us know we can swipe up to get rid of the current pop up. The problem is, another pop up will come back the next time we visit a random site. We’re all trying to find out how to permanently eliminate this problem - and no permanent solutions have been offered.

Good advice on AdGuard. I'll try that one. I always just swipe up and don't click on it, but I still get them appearing (ok, not "popping up") CONSTANTLY. I've lost count of the number of sites they appear on. I don't have time to contact the webmaster of every site, nor do I have any clue how to do that, It happens to me at least once a day on all different sites. But if AdGuard works, I'm in. 🙂

I am suffering the same issue. I can’t even uninstall safari!

I can not go to any website on my iPad since doing the update without a website loading telling me I won something on amazon. Very annoying.

Have you run Etrecheck and Malwarebytes for Mac? Do you see any extensions that you don't recognize in both browsers?

I'd be quite disappointed if all I'd won was a pop-up.........
