iMovie 9.0.9 and Os X 10.11 El Capitan

Same problem, with iMovie 9.0.9 and el Capitan. The preview show head down the video......!!! 😝Any suggestion?. Is it a bug or a problem with the Library?

Same problem with El Capitan and Imovie 9.0.4, can't add titles or it crashes, can't even scroll down on the titles browser

think it's the graphics card, I have the same problem with El Capitan and it seems my intel HD graphics 3000 card doesn't do well with this OS. What graphic cards do you guys have?

My graphic card is ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB. I have an iMac 2009. My problem is with the scroll on the preview movie.

I was having the same problems; blacked out pics, constant crashes and (totally weird) upside down clips. My only solution has been to restore from a backup and ditch El Capitan. Not a long term solution though.

I finally updated to iMovie 10.1. All problems solved. I had no problem with the update (and the clips shown up) .... I used some iMovie 10.1 and all ok.

I agree denisfromquebec. Since Apple discontinued iDVD, iMovie can't create chapter markers. But after you update iMovie, version 9 is still in Applications folder and you can use both versions. I phoned apple support; I hope a solution too.

Did Apple give any indication that they were going to address the problem with iMovie v9 and el Capitan?
