Apps not downloading or updating iPhone 6s iOS9.0.2

I restored from an iTunes backup to a new iPhone 6s, however every day am unable to download apps and updates without a reset (home and lock button). When I click get or update the circle starts spinning but never gets to the stop button and instead goes back to the get it update button. Is this a full restore job or is there another solution (I don't really want to have to reset my phone every day!)

I've tried all of the described steps, but non of them worked (iPhone 6S Plus, latest iOS).

The following procedure worked for me, now I can download and update apps again:

!!!! Be careful, you will delete everything from your iPhone !!!!

1. Backup your iPhone with iTunes. To be sure you can backup to iCloud or to another computer also.

2. Settings/General/Reset/Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase everything to the factory default status.

3. Follow the basic setup instructions on iPhone.

4. Go back to iTunes and restore the backup.

5. After the restore iPhone will re-download all of the apps, wait until finished.

6. AppStore works again.

I tried backup - "Reset All Settings" - restore sequence but did not work. The big difference that in this case apps are not deleted and probably some app update is the reason of the malfunction of the App Store.

Add me to the growing number of disgruntled fans. This happens to me every few days. Apps will not download. They will download part of the way and then stop. Deleting them and reinstalling does not work. Rebooting the phone does not work. Used to be with apple, things just worked. No one can say that anymore. I am not one of those people who threatens to leave for android. I love my apple products, but apple really needs to step up their game.

I'm also having this issue. My iPad is the only one affected though. The only way I've been able to get around it is by soft resetting my device(lock/home button combo). It's frustrating because not only can I not download or update apps I can't make in app purchases either. Initially, that is how I learned of the problem. Also if you go into your purchased section it will show all of your apps are in the cloud and none of them are on your device. So instead of having a button that says "open" beside the app it will have the cloud symbol. In the update section the "open" button simply isn't there. This really is a troublesome issue that Apple needs to solve asap.

Try this once please.

1. Settings --> iTunes & App Stores --> Click your apple ID and do sign out. Then sign-in newly.

2. Settings --> Wi-Fi --> Select the 'i' icon near your wi-fi device name. At the bottom, you will see renew license. Click that.

Now go to app store and try to do the apps update. Even after clicking the 'UPDATE' still same 'UPDATE' pop up comes, keep on trying to press the 'UPDATE' option. After 3 to 4 times, it will start downloading.

This worked for me in my iPhone 6 plus with iOS 9.2.1

Add me to the same list of disgruntled customers. I had this problem a long time ago on a rather aged 3Gs and now it is impacting me on a 6s Plus. If the ecosystem doesn't work properly, what's the point of using it? Frustrating, to say the least, hopefully Apple will help root-cause this and identify a fix. I have tried the date thing, rebooting the phone, and logging out from my Apple ID to no avail.
