the USB connected CardScan business card reader model 800c was broken by the installation of el Capitan. The provider says they are waiting on Apple to provide a solution and to "watch their website!" Is there a way to escalate a solution?

I'm still trying to get Cardscan to run on my MacBook. Despite the assurance from Dymo that it will never run on OS version El Capitan I'm still hearing of others who have got the application to do so.
The zip file that the Dymo support team sent me is corrupt, I have asked for an alternative version but they say that none is available. The original V9.0 software disc that I have will not get past the activation process, it says that my "grace period" has expired even though I have a valid serial number.
Any further advice and/or help appreciated.

This so !@#$%^ *****. How can this not get resolved? I am disappointed with Dymo AND Apple for this.
HHaving downloaded and installed the El Capitan 10.11.5 update I was hoping that this would have resolved the issue, but stil no luck trying to get Cardscan to install and run. Does anyone have any recent knowledge on this continuing issue?
