The suggestion is to reinstall iTunes on OSX (your Mac), not iOS (your iPhone). Hope this clears things up.

Odd but this problem just started for me a few weeks ago on my iPhone 5s trying to sync with my macbook air. Any suggestions? I have the latest version of iPhoto that came out a few weeks ago too.

Robster50, you have no clue how helpful you are. Ive literally seen EVERY help post on this topic on the net and had yet to find the solution until now. Who knew it was this simple.

re-install iTunes. This is the fix. Ive looked everywhere and been frustrated by this problem for over a year. Finally a fix.
