Searching in Contacts doesn't work after iOS 9.1 update

Hello,

I've just updated my iPhone 5S to iOS 9.1 and since then I can't search any contact in my Phone/Contacts apps. I have tried many things like switching on/off spotlight search for contacts+couple of restarts, but it still does not work.

I really don't want to factory reset my iPhone due such a stupid bug.

Does anybody else have the same issue as me?

I have like 15 contacts starting with "po", this is the result of the bug:

Hello All,

I was reading through these messages, and the solution is pretty simple. The update basically removes the checks from all contacts.

You do not have to do a reset.

Solution: In the "Contacts" or "All Contacts" page, click on "Groups" (mostly top left of the window), and select "Show All Contacts". This should resolve the issue.

TThe problem for me I found, when I signed into iCloud, was that my contacts consisted of only my Gmail contacts, not my iCloud contacts also. In trying to figu out the answer prior to this, I saw that he was an iCloud contact. Now that I check iCloud as well as Gmail contacts the problem was solved. So go to iCloud, sign in and see which contacts are listed in your Contacts, your specific email you use regularly (for me Gmail) as well as iCloud too. It worked for me! Thanks.
