iOS 9.1 causing app store issues

hello, i have updated my iPhone 6s to IOS 9.1, which claims to fix in issue with app store downloads and game center log in.

strange enough, i started having these issues after the update, i never faced it with IOS 9.0.2. now i'm unable to use the app store for any download, and i can't access game center either. i'm even facing some wifi connectivity issues. so basically, IOS 9.1 gave me the issues that it was supposed to solve 😕

i have tried hard resets and restores, i have lost some valuable data and apps along the way, nothing worked. i'm using iTunes on my macbook to install apps for the time being. but any idea how to fix this ? never in 6 years i faced issues with iPhones. so i guess now apple have broken my virginity.

It seems I may be having the same issue, though I haven't had a chance to restore yet (I'm trying to avoid that).

I've tried rebooting the iPhone (6s), resetting network settings, signing out and then trying to sign back in, which sometimes it will let me sign in, but most times it just doesn't do anything.

App Store says I have no purchases, Apple Music doesn't recognize that I'm on a Family Plan (I'm the creator of the Plan), etc. This is all when it does happen to let me sign back in.

Just want to update everyone: I took the plunge and downloaded the ios 9.2 beta 4 and got off the 9.02 since everyone is saying its fixed. It seems to be fixed so far and everything is working even my music came back to the apple music although no itunes match still that might not have anything to do with this problem I gotta check something on that. I can download apps as well. The only thing I have is a buggy apple music app. It seems to freeze all the time but it hasn't stopped playing music. I heard the apple music was buggy I never had that but now I do but as long as I can play music I 'm ok. Gonna do my ipad next I'll let everyone know if it stays this way.

i am new to apple, just got my iPad mini in September.

ios 9 didn't give me any problems, neither did 9.0.1, nor 9.0.2. however 9.1 is a very different matter; as has been detailed at great length on this thread I too am suffering from the same issues - game centre won't load, and any game linked to game centre won't load, all downloaded apps display the cloud with arrow symbol and register as not on my iPad, I can't download any apps from the App Store nor can i download anything from iTunes. plus iBooks now won't load.

this all happened within a day of installing 9.1 (minus the iBooks issue) but seemed to resolve itself soon after. but from 2 days ago all these issues are now extremely prominent, including the special bonus of iBooks now not working too.

as a new member to the apple club i can say I'm not particularly pleased; apple products are (generally) very good(from what I hear) but how can anyone be expected to stay with Apple if you can't access any of the apps/tunes/books?

i can only hope that 9.2 is actually a finished (and thoroughly tested/bug fixing) update. ☹️

Try signing out of iTunes via the Settings app, rebooting, and signing back in.

so the sign out, reboot, sign in method does work, but only for about a day before all the issues resume. the sign out, reboot, sign in still works (for now) but it's not exactly ideal (which is what Apple products are supposed to be), but it's better than nothing

Signing out, hard reboot, and then signing back in again worked for me. Haven't had any issues since then. Whatever day all of the Apple Services were down when people started reporting that this is fixed.

After10 days of use since "the fix" partial issues came back: the password settings in iTunes disappeared, and the clouds for my installed apps returned. However, Pandora still worked. Signed out of iTunes and did a hard reboot, signed back in, and everything went back to normal. It's been 3 since this happened and the issues have not returned. There is still something not quite right with iOS 9.1 and the Apple servers, but the sign-out and hard reboot, and sign back in to iTunes works. I'm hoping one of the newer iOS 9 updates does away with these glitches.iBooks, app store, and iTunes - everything is working right with me on the iPhone 6s. Yesterday, I had some Bluetooth connectivity issues with the phone and Bose speaker. Never happened before, but it kept loosing the connection yesterday. Did a hard reboot and that seemed to fix the issue.

I updated my 6s to 9.2 based on answers I got from the beta testers who said their devices were running ok once the Apple server issue was fixed. The only thing I noticed after updating from 9.1 to 9.2 was that I needed to sign in to iCloud, and iTunes Password setting disappeared again. The fix for the password setting disappearance was to log out of iCloud and iTunes, Hard Reset, log in to iCloud, log in to iTunes. After I did that iTunes password setting reappeared. As far as app store issues - didn't have any after updating to 9.2. It's been 4 hours since I updated and no issues to report so far. I have two other devices running 9.02 that I don't plan to update just yet. I'm going to see how my 6s behaves with 9.2 for a few days.
