Safari does not open links from twitter

In Twitter App Preferences check Main-Open links in background. This helped for my Safari v9.0.1 on El Capitan v10.11.1 to open Twitter App v3.1.2 links without any problems.

Did you ever figure this out? It's currently driving me nuts. I've tried everything suggested in this thread too.

Absolutely nothing I try works for longer than 30 minutes.

I don't have that plist.

I have com.apple.security.othernames.plist but not the one you mention.

Have the same issue, macbook pro 13 (2015), os x el capitan 10.11.3 safari 9.0.3

Hi again. To me it seems solved since yesterdays release of OS 10.11.3.
