Why is the Remote App not compatible with 4th gen Apple TV?

Is it Apple's plan to release an update to the Remote app to support the 4th gen ATV or are they ditching the app?

DDoes anyone know what the Options icon (3 short lines and down arrow) next to the Menu button is supposed to do? I press it and nothing happens.

From what I see., it shifts the screen down on your tv. Maybe once you get a ton of apps, it acts like a page down button.

Thanks. And from I can tell I can no longer see and navigate my cloud music library in the remote app. True?

That's what Im seeing. Or access the Home Sharing libaray.
