Apple TV 4 Turns TV ON with CEC but won't turn TV off

I've got a 70" Vizio P series TV and a Denon Amp connected via HDMI to the new Apple TV gen 4.

The aTV will turn on the TV and Amp when I wake it up and it turns the amp off when it goes to sleep, but it leaves the TV turned ON. Other CEC functions work like volume control and input selection, just the power off for the TV doesn't.

Anybody got any suggestions??

Yes, the AppleTV correctly turns the TV and soundbar on, selects the correct input for the TV, and controls volume correctly.
