imac 24" 4gig ram El Capitan.

When I use Photo, a few seconds after start to work a p^rocess nemmed :

it takes more and more memory place ( untill 35 gig !!! ) and CPU use, so that after two ou three minute, no more possible to use the mac,

If I stop this process with monitor activity, everything returns normal, qo what to do and xhat is the use of this process ?

I've seen that problem only on El Capitan. Does it still persist on Sierra for you - just curious 😁? I'm rarely seeing photomodel running on Sierra at all.

In fact the problem was on Sierra 10.12.0 😝 (sorry I did not mentioned this before)

and update 10.12.2 dit not resolve the issue...

The most common reason for photomodel running and running and hogging all ressources it can get, are incompatible media files. If photomodel cannot process a video or image, because it is corrupted or has an unsupported image format or color profile, it may try to process it over and over again. In such a case the only fix is to find the media that are causing the trouble and removing them from the library. Repairing the library or restoring from a backup will not help, because that will not remove media files.
