imac 24" 4gig ram El Capitan.


hello fropm france.

When I use Photo, a few seconds after start to work a p^rocess nemmed :


com.apple.photomodel


it takes more and more memory place ( untill 35 gig !!! ) and CPU use, so that after two ou three minute, no more possible to use the mac,

If I stop this process with monitor activity, everything returns normal, qo what to do and xhat is the use of this process ?

The most common reason for photomodel running and running and hogging all ressources it can get, are incompatible media files. If photomodel cannot process a video or image, because it is corrupted or has an unsupported image format or color profile, it may try to process it over and over again. In such a case the only fix is to find the media that are causing the trouble and removing them from the library. Repairing the library or restoring from a backup will not help, because that will not remove media files.
