The iPhone 6s is not water resistant. You may not have had trouble yet but, you're significantly decreasing the life of your phone. That is, of course, your choice. Suggesting it to others, though, is irresponsible.
Bad advice. No iPhone is water proof. With all iPhones, water damage voids the warranty. It is ridiculous to expose an expensive device, that many likely depend on daily, to potential water damage.
Heya Carl I’ve actually showered with my 6s plus before many times and no issues, with no case on it. So it’s not the case with all 6s iPhones but it’s the manufacturers machines don’t always do the same quality job on making every iPhone 6s Plus. So my advice don’t risk it but your gonna get 70% lucky when showering with your iPhone depending if your iPhone is part of that 70%
The OP had an iPhone 5c and Carl made his answer 2 years ago.
That may be. I guess I’ve just been getting lucky

You can take your property anywhere you like. It will destroy it of course, but you're free to do so if you wish. IPhones are NOT waterproof or even warrantied as water resistance, and water and energized electronics typically equals destroyed electronics. But by all means, enjoy the freedom to use your devices in any way, shape or form you choose to. That's the beauty of personal choice and the burden of personal responsibility.
OH really I tried it out and it worked fine and Carl wolf said something else I'm confused😕
and does any of u work at Apple
Nobody here does
A Simple check of the tech specs online would tell you it is NOT waterproof:
Environmental Requirements
Operating ambient temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
Nonoperating temperature: -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C)
Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
Operating altitude: tested up to 10,000 feet (3000 m)
Ano no, with very rare exceptions, Apple employees do not participate in these forums. We're just fellow users of Apple devices.

Sure. Go ahead. Just don't expect it to function afterwards.
By the way, doing so will also void your warranty.
OK guys but next time could u not be so rude I know dumb question but still im not expecting much

No one here was rude to you. You were given clear, detailed answers. Carl was sarcastic but, given your question, that sort of answer was to be expected.
Meg is right, I was being sarcastic. Hundreds of users have posted about damaging their iPhone with a light spritzing.
I Guess I took it to harshly I always do but it sounded like u people thought I was dumb I didnt know but I'm sorry and I won't bath with my phone😉
