And there are some other brand of smart phones that are advertised as waterproof. But be sure to check the specs of any case or other phone you buy to make sure of what they actually claim. And note that technically "water resistant" is not "water proof".

It's a really bad idea. You shouldn't be touching the phone with wet hands. What if you knock it off the shelf?

Get yourself some waterproof Bluetooth speakers if you want to listen in the shower.

It would still be in a condensing high humidity environmentment. High humidity and condensation is just as damaging as immersion.

I like Meg's idea of waterproof BT speakers. That way, your iPhone likley need not even be in the bathroom at all so avoids any issue with condensation.

Please find a better way to enjoy your music. I listen to music as much as anyone I know, but I can make it through the few minutes it takes to shower without major withdrawal symptoms.

Wash quickly as I have to get ready for work. When you're an adult, you'll understand what not having free time really means.
