Lucky You. The nearest Apple Pencil to me was 208 miles to the north in a Best Buy, was is the operative term, it's been sold. All the Apple corporate stores are 4 to 5 hours of drive time. Regardless back to your question about the Wacom Intus Creative Stylus 2. I does not work on the iPad Pro today. I did get one for the same reason, from the local Best Buy, not having held the Apple Pencil yet, I do like the ergonomics of the Stylus 2. I messed with it for about 2 hours on the iPad Pro, and then decided to try it on my iPad 3. Everything worked like a champ on the iPad 3 in less that ten minutes, just not of the iPad Pro. In Wacom's defense, the packaging did not say it would work on the iPad Pro, and did identify a number of iPads it would not work with, iPad 1, iPad 2 and iPad Air 2. It does say in the material on the inside that it requires IOS 6 or better. So evidently there is some hardware differences that keep it from working as well. Thought it was odd that it claims to work with the iPad Air 1, just not the 2.
