iPad Air 2 is not constantly connect to the internet

Hi,

I am having problem that my iPad air 2 is not able to connect to the internet constantly. I attach video for the issue I have mentioned about. This is happening after I restored my iPad air 2 to IOS 9.1.

I have contact apple chat online and received the comments to explore the below links. It temporarily fixes the issue when I change SSID name. However, the issue appears again after iPad connected to the internet for a while (1-2 days). I have to reset my router, rename SSID, turn on-off my iPad to make it connected to the internet.

I went to Apple service store in Thailand. My iPad run checks and it is able to connect to their wifi router with no issue at all. I haven't spend time for all day at the service center so that the issue is not reproducible on their site. Then, they said there is no issue on my iPad.

I have searched on apple forum and found some people facing the same issues as I am. It seems the issue is not resolved.

iPad Air 2 WiFi Issues

I did everything I can to get my iPad connect to internet constantly again. I tried to connect internet with different router brands and internet service provider. Unfortunately, it does not help. The issues appear on my mobile hotspot and 2 home wifi routers with different ISP. For other devices, they can connect to the internet constantly.

My hope is the newer of IOS will help resolving this issue. I wish I should have not upgrade my iPad to IOS 9.1.

I have the problem with the WIFI also. Constant hangs and drops. I'm a 15 year network engineer so I can Google and research fixes with the best of 'em. None of the solutions have been hard fixes. This is a known issue.

I have alway been an Android guy and got the Airpad2 for the battery life. I regret that decision as the Ipad is just too annoying to use. It's an expensive brick. Wish I would have gotten the Samsung.

Thanks for your post.

It was working fine before update to IOS 9. I am also IT guys and working on IT fields. My current workaround now is resetting the modem router, place Ipad nearby the router and pray that it can be connected again.

I hope Apple do something about this. I contacted them in every way as I can, but no one can actually help me. It is very annoying me to use Ipad on IOS 9.1-9.2 now.

Thanks again for posting the same issue.

I have the same problem with my iPad Air 2. No problem with iPhone 6 or old iPadmini. In additon to losing the wifi connection, my iPad slides the wifi bar to the off position. Not to mention that Safari has become painfully slow. It not only takes a long time for a site to load but sometimes it takes so long a request gets timed out and sometimes I get a message saying that I cannot be connected to a site because there is no internet connection.

THe problem started in September after the software download. I have tried everything everyone in all these forums recommends. I called Apple twice and they had no other suggestions. I have been to the Genius Bar three times. The first time they said it was a hardware bug and replaced the iPad, the second they said it was some bug in my software, made me do a factory reset and replaced my entire operating system and the problem came back 24 hours later. The third visit was today and they have no idea. They say they have never heard lf this issue before despite me telling them there are hundreds of people on the Apple site with exactly the same problem. I think they think I am making it up. I am extremely frustrated and wish I had answers.
