How to find an orginal iphone using serial number

I Am using an iphone 6 , i wanted to know if my iphone is orignal or fake by checking a serial number

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1

one of my friend is also having the same color and he purchase it from AUSTRALIA , i checked his serial number too and i found that it shows the same picture for iphone as it was showing for mine .i.e. white color front , he also have black color iphone6.

so i think it shows the standard color for all the serial number
