iOS 9.2 iCloud backup still not fixed!!!

I am also receiving the "iCloud Backup Failed: There was a problem enabling iCloud Backup" message on both my iPad and iPhone so I called Apple Support - the representative I spoke with said that this is a known issue and is resolved in iOS 9.2.2 which is releasing tomorrow.

SO a new software update coming out Tuseday to fix ICloud backup is that what the apple tech said?

I'm having the same issue. Not seeing an update yet today. Somehow I think the rumor of a backup today is bogus, I don't think Apple has ever given out a date of such an update.

Come on Apple, this is the very opposite of what you stand for. I need "It Just Works", and I need it now.

Since as of now Apple system status is indicating no problems with icloud backup, it would be helpful to report it to Apple support.

I had to contact Apple and now their engineering team is looking at it. Apparently my iCloud backups are corrupted. I cannot delete the only backup in there. It looks like this started when I loaded the iOS 9.3 beta and used my primary iCloud account (which I probably should not have). Lesson learned about testing betas!

That's what the representative I spoke with last night had told me, but as of right now it's looking like he just wanted to get me off the phone.

I was on the phone with them for a little over an hour..I don't believe there was anything else they could do for me over the phone.

Apple is probably still testing the new software out. It will probably be out some time this week. Hope the new software works. Cross our fingers.

I guess Apple will be doing it's earnings call today can someone tell Tim Cook iCloud is messed up and can they fix it PLEASE!!!

Went ahead and called support again just now. Started a case and spoke to a advisor who was going to start the same old troubleshooting nonsense. I stopped him and explained that this is an ongoing issue and told him the consensus is that there is an iCloud server communication to device issue going on. i gave him reference to this thread and he contacted a senior advisor who said they are aware of a problem and are working on a solution "tirelessly". Also said will be part of the next update. I asked when would it be and he gave the same old not sure at this time but soon. I suggest everyone does the same thing and call get a case and reference this thread.

14 weeks without iCloud backup.

ICloud backup now seems to be working on both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air! About time!!!

It's working for me too! Looks like they fixed something on their end!

They fixed this issue as of today. No update to iOS was required. My iPhone and iPad both work now.
