My new Apple Pencil gives me a "This accessory or cable is not certified ... " message. It's just new out of the box and I get the message when I plug it in my iPad Pro. Anyone else with the same problem? Any fixes?

iM having the same problem and it's driving me crazy...
Best return it then, Apple could not get mine to work again either and it was replaced.

mY pencil didn't come with a male to female connector.... :/ and my pencil is no longer working
Happens when the Pencil has 0% battery. If on the road, without the tiny adapter, plug the Pencil into an iPhone instead of the iPad.
