I recently did the current update for the El Capitan. My Kodak EasyShare program crashes upon launch and can't send a crash report. Help anyone? Thanks.

USB card readers come in many flavors and are available just about anywhere - make sure it is able to read whatever kind of card it is you use in your camera - it's as small as a thumb drive and easier to handle - stick the card in the slot, plug the USB end into a USB port and there you go. I've always used one; some computers have card readers built in. I got a free one from Sandisk when I bought a high capacity SD card from them. This is the one I got (but that does not mean you have to use that one - you do need to get one which will read your type of card; if not sure, ask at your nearest photo store):

You're welcome; once you get one and plug it in, you should get an icon on your desktop. Double click and it'll open the folder(s) with your pics on it. You don't need anything except double click to open them. I always look at them first to see if I want to edit any and then decide where I want them.
