When I try to login to my Paypal account on my Mac I get a message that some of the information is incorrect, try again. I can login to my Paypal account using my PC and the same information that was said to be in error.

From the Safari menu bar, please select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.
I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for you. I understand the logic in what you are saying so I am going to go back to the beginning of our process and try doing it all again. Step by step. As you know I could well have not done it correctly.
Ok. I went back to the beginning and started forward with all the steps you suggested. It appears that the "Spelling and Grammar >Show Spelling and Grammar" step was the key. Now the Paypal login in Safari works. Thank you. Is there any way to re-establish my favorites in Safari?
If you followed the instructions, all of Safari's settings should have been restored when you moved the Library files from the Desktop back to their original locations, after quitting Safari.
My Safari and PayPal problem (PayPal not working) was fixed by temporarily turning off my Ad blocker (Crystal in my case with my iPAD IOS 9)
