iPhone 6S. OS 9.2

I have already tried to delete the information for the person listed as "my card." Because the phone thinks it is "my card" deleting the contact and/or editing the info. does not work.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2

Create a new contact with your correct info, set that as "My Card" in:

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Contacts > My Info

Don't bother, just delete that card.

My Card continuously assigns my son's card to my profile. Same first and last names, different middle name and address (we live about 1,000 miles apart. I don't want to delete his card. How can I make it "freeze" My Card to my profile?

I could see my Contact card listed in my iPhone 5S (using iOS 9.3.2) but it was dimmed on the Search list, and I could not click on the listed item to open the Contact Card to view or edit my info.

Designating another card as "My Info" under Settings/General/Mail, Contacts, Calendar did not help this at all.

Then, relying on someone else's post, I deleted the FaceBook app and restarted my iPhone.

Now I can edit the Contact Card for My Info just like any other Contact card.

    Thanks, FaceBook!

This is one of these head-slapping, why-didn't-I-figure-this-out fixes once you know it. (And I didn't either.) Go to Settings, select Mail-contacts-calendar, scroll down to My Info under Contacts and tap it, scroll through the contacts list until you find your card, select it, and close.

First, go to "Settings" on your i Phone's touch screen.  Next, scroll down until you reach "My info".  Click on that and it will pull up your Contacts list.  Simply school through to find yourself in the Contact's list and select yourself.  This will result in the phone correctly replacing the other person's name with yours.

    I had this same problem.

Check the contact that is listed as my card.

In may case, it was my daughter that was listed on my phone.

I opened her contact and it had my name listed as her mother under family.

I deleted my name off her contact as her mother, and then my name appeared now under my card.
