"My card" in Contacts is not me and it won't let me edit it or delete the info. for the person listed (who happens to have the same first name as i do). Any ideas?

I have already tried to delete the information for the person listed as "my card." Because the phone thinks it is "my card" deleting the contact and/or editing the info. does not work.

Create a new contact with your correct info, set that as "My Card" in:
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Contacts > My Info
I did that and it's still the wrong pers
My problem as others is that it won't let you change "My Info" back as long as the Facebook app is installed and linked to contacts.
delete all contact, add 1 contact with your name, turn off iPad and turn on, and problem solved 🙂

Try this: on your iPhone go to Settings>Facebook and sign out.
In my experience when changing the 'my card' info you will need to force-close the contacts app before it will refresh with the new info.
