Apple watch locked with iCloud account how can I unlock it ( I have the invoice and original package of it ). Is Apple able to unlock it?

So basically my Apple watch is locked on a foreign country Apple ID - I'we brought it from someone online and that person seems that has scammed me, I have the original package and the invoice for the watch, Is Apple able to remotely unlock the Watch if I give them the Serial Number?

Any Info is highly appreciated as the watch was brought as a gift and has costed me alot of cash.

This originally did not work, After removing from my iCloud account I then had to enter my passcode for iTunes account into the new apple watch owners phone. It then prompted them to enter there iTunes account username and password into the apple watch set up and they then owned the apple watch and it is now attached to there devices and accounts. Hope this helps.

Yep Know that feeling for sure just did the same thing only i bought a 6s iphone and well have never disliked an experience so much. or a company's decision to add a feature like that.

That feature has reduced the theft of iPhones by 30%. Sounds like a really great feature.

I would like to know this also! I bought a used Apple watch and it is locked. I am out of the money but if I could at least return it to its rightful owner I AM SURE THEY WOULD BE HAPPY!

Yeah like the police give a crap! It would be nice IF Apple provided a way to get stolen items returned THAT would be a great public service!
