System crashes with El Capitan

Since I installed El Capitan (a couple of months ago) I've had regular system crashes. I'm lucky to get 2 hours of uninterrupted use. It doesn't seem to matter what apps are running, it even happens when the machine is idle. I've run EtreCheck, and subsequently Malwarebytes AntiMalware, but this had no effect. I've updated to 10.11.1 and yesterday to 10.11.2, but again to no effect. Strangely, almost all of the crash logs mention "com.Symantec.kext.intenetSecurity", but I uninstalled Symantec when the license expired, and even ran "RemoveSymantecMacFiles" app, so I don't understand why there are any Symantec fragments remaining. I'm running a 2.7GHz iMac with 8Gig of memory. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Those for "Identified Developer" are located in /Library/Extensions, while the unsigned are in /System/Library/Extensions.

2 . I ran RemoveSymantecMacFiles a couple more times , and it is now NOT telling me that there are kexts files. So, maybe some success?
