Activity app appears to delete Move activity

For 3 days in a row now, I've gone to bed with all 3 circles completed in my Activity app, only to wake up to find the Move goal has been missed. I checked the Health app and no activity has been removed, thankfully. Can anyone help me debug why my Activity app is seemingly deleting progress overnight?

Last night, I took a screenshot at 11:51 (showing 556/480 calories) for Jan 2. This morning, I took another screenshot at 8:01 (showing 273/480 calories) for Jan 2.

I'm also using Runkeeper for iOS vs. 6.4 to track workouts during the day, but as you can see the working data (and move/calorie information has remained intact in the Activity app):

I have had the same problem. I workout using the Nike Training app. Not the running one. EVERY SINGLE TIME my calories disappear. I don't know what to do. I has to be a software problem.

For assistance with data syncing issues relating to use of Nike's app, I suggest that you consult Nike's support resources and/or contact Nike:

Hi

You may find that this is due to the de-duplication of Active Energy data that was initially double counted.

The following thread refers:

Apple Watch Move Goal problem

It includes this comment from one user:

"The developer said this would be fixed in the 6.3 update. We're on 6.4 and it's still not fixed"

You may wish to contact the developer of the Runkeeper app for further assistance.

Hi, I have contacted Runkeeper just before the holidays about this as it's happening to me too. They are looking in to, I have just dropped them another message this morning to see if there is any update on a possible fix. I have tried everything to work around it with no success. the only sure way is to run the Apple Workout app in conjunction with the Runkeeper app to get the best of both worlds. I have had to start using Runtastic Pro to track my runs until this is fixed. This is another option and then when the fix arrives "export data" from Runtastic and "import data" back to Runkeeper. Hope this helps I'll keep you updated if I find anything out.

I am having this exact issue as well as several other posters in this forum. I have also contacted Runkeeper (RK) support. They told me that it is an Apple Activity app issue, not theirs. I have continued to follow up with RK anyway because I'm not convinced the issue is solely on the Apple end of things.

I consistently have issues with the sync between the RK Watch app and the RK iPhone app.

- I bring my iPhone along for use of the GPS and to calibrate the RK Apple Watch app for future phone-less tracking

- I start/stop/save the activity from the Watch app and do not open the iPhone app unless I have to (more on that later)

- I'm on iOS 9.2 and WatchOS 2.1

- Some issues I've been having on occassion:

- Move calories disappear from Activity app the next day

- The wrong activity type is recorded after it's been synced to the servers (i.e. run instead of bike)

- The activity doesn't sync to RK servers until I next open iPhone app

- The dreaded location tracking blue bar appears and iPhone app continues using GPS even after I save the activity from my Watch
