iPhone MetroPCS Issue

I just put my iPhone 6S on MetroPCS a few days ago. I immediately noticed that my Visual Voicemail and VoLTE don't work, even though they did on my old iPhone 6. First I reset the network settings, no luck, then I reset the phone and set up as new, still no luck, well upon further research, I am not the only one that has this issue, this is a common issue with the iPhone 6S on the MetroPCS network, even though these features are listed as fully supported on the iPhone right on apples website. This is a known issue, and my question is if apple is working with MetroPCS to get this issue resolved in any way??? I tried contacting MetroPCS about this issue but their foreign technical support is atrocious, and really had no clue as to what I was speaking of.

After spending two hours in the Apple Store and talking to their customer support......I had Apple contact MetroPCS for me. We called Metropcs on a three way call. The rep played dumb until I politely explained what a carrier pack / bundle was. Then she magically knew exactly what I was talking about and created a service ticket. She stated MetroPCS only supports iPhone 6 and below. She said there's no support for the SE or 6S / 6S Plus. I'm high confused because the native carrier bundle file name ends with..... TMOBILE_METROPCS.ipcc . That tells me it's the same file and metro chooses not to support it. I also contacted apple and let them know if MetroPCS isn't going to support the newer phones they need to remove the MetroPCS name off of their supported carrier list. It makes apple look bad. Hopefully they have some type of resolution with this ticket. I'm not holding my breath. I might be switching carriers.

I'm having the same exact problem. Had an iPhone 6 on Metro, worked great (Wi-Fi calling, personal hotspot, VoLTE, etc.). Now, I'm wondering if I switch to T-Mobile Prepaid, will the 24.1 update install on my 6S Plus? Is there a difference between postpaid and prepaid carrier bundles? I'm about to DM T-Mobile's customer service on Twitter. They have the exact same plan as I have for Metro - $50 for 5 GB. I hope this works.

Oh, believe me, I've private messaged them to no avail. All I get back is, "We don't know when the carrier update will be available. Your phone will download it automatically." Yeah, ok. I'm about to go your route and just switch over to Simply Prepaid. I went to my local store, and the guy there said they don't charge taxes and fees on the monthly bill per se, just a convenience fee for using a kiosk or whatever to pay it. Now it's just a matter of me getting the card and transferring my number over.
