Can't mount external USB SSD drive after shutdown

Community,

Loner T you out there!?? ;-) I have a MBP running Bootcamp/W10 and sometimes boot off of an external USB SSD drive. The other day the laptop powered off (I forgot the power cord wasn't plugged in) and now the drive shows in Disk Utility but is greyed out and I don't see it in finder when I powered back up. I did a First Aid on the drive and it checks out fine and did try to unmount it and mount it through the command line. Thoughts? Thank you!

I was wondering what the scoop was? ;-) Welp I returned the Samsung pretty much just because it was just too big but it was a pretty good monitor. I solidified on the Dell U2715 http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&sku=210-ADKB and the LG 34UM95 you recommended and will make a decision soon. Right now I have the LG hooked up and can't seem to figure out why I can't get the brightness working with my Apple keyboard. I haven't hooked up the Dell yet. It seems just like one challenge on another LT. Irritating...

LT! You are alive! Yes I have my drivers loaded. But actually while on the Mac side the brightness button is not having any effect as well. Not sure what is going on. I REALLY want to use the Brightness buttons on the Mac keyboard and not the monitor. The LG is a major pain in the donkey with the joystick. The Dell is actually pretty nice because it has a Shortcut Key function but honestly I am starting to really like the LG even though the Dell looks better/crisper. On the fence..

BTW - Still having lag problems with Screen Sharing and VNC.. I may need your help on that (yet again - I hope these points give you free stuff or whatever!)
