IPhone 6 IOS 9.2.1 No Service - regularly iPhone shows "No Service" even though usage is in high signal area. Must reboot to get back service. Is this a known issue? Any fix?

Regularly get "No Service" indicator in strong signal area. Only remedy is to reboot unit. Then service indicator will show full signal strength. When "No Service" of course I get no calls or messages. Very frustrating to need to regular,y look at my phone to see if I have service even though I know signal is strong. Is this a known issue? Any fix other than constant review and reboot when "No Service". BTW my android friends have no such issue when we physically socialize together. My iPhone is now the butt of many jokes. Not funny to me.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone with this issue have Verizon or any CDMA carrier? I have Verizon, and today I noticed that I can now get on the cellular internet (NOT wifi) while I'm on a phone call. CDMA carriers don't have this ability. Therefore, I believe that the CDMA chips on the logic board are failing, and the GSM chips are picking up the slack, so to speak. I also believe that the reverse is true. If you have a GSM carrier, like AT&T, I believe your GSM chips are failing and the CDMA chips are picking up the slack.

I would definitely appreciate it if someone with a CDMA carrier would let me know if they can now access the internet while on a phone call, and I would be just as curious to know if people with GSM carriers are now UNABLE to access the internet while on a call.

I'm going to AT&T tomorrow to get a prepaid plan and try that SIM in my iPhone. I'll let you know if switching to GSM solves the problem!

I Have been stuffing around with my iPhone 6 for 3 days. I have tried everything I could find online. reset network settings. Restored from back up, restored as a new iphone. I have even stripped the whole phone down and made sure wiring lumes and antenna cables were plugged in properly. i thought I had fixed it a few times. Then an hour later service would drop out again. Then I found this, tried it and got service back straight away. Twisted by pushing the top left and bottom right corners. It has dropped out a few times since. But do the same thing and it comes back every time. Thank you so much. I just need to work out where those contact terminals are now and give them a clean or stretch or something.
