I have an Apple Tv 4 and i can't download netflix, I had the app, but I uninstall and when I try to install again does`t complete de process an a message saying Unable to download app appears. Any suggestion on what to do?

Same here. 3 days already passed and i havent come with a solution (I had made everything in my power and nothing worked). I chat with the netflix team and they said it was an apple problem. But i dont live in the US so i dont have the option to chat with te apple support team. If somebody come up with a solution please let us know. I will try to call to Latin Amercian Support Service and see if they can help me.

Yes. I even tried changing the ATV and iTunes account regions to US and switch them back to see if that could do some reset or something, but nothing. I'm gonna ask for a friend's iTunes Account from a different country and set my ATV to that same place to see if i can download it.

It looks like it only happens to people with Latin American regions. It happens to me too and there are no answers from Netflix or Apple. That is just wrong. Please if anybodd has an idea pleas post it. We are on our own.

Is your tvOS the current 9.2.1? See Settings>General>About to confirm.

Try power cycling ATV to ensure the system's clean.

Is your problem identical to the OP? ATV 4, had Netflix, uninstalled it, downloads but cannot complete installation? If not, please describe your exact symptoms.

OK. Are you able to install any app from the TV app store? I just installed it with no problem, opened it, quit it, and deleted it. Are you sure you deleted it before trying to reinstall, or did you just force quit it? To delete, you hold the touchpad until the icon shakes, then hit play to get the menu. Did you do that?

I'm in California as well with the same issue. It's been like this for a month, I am hoping a future tvOS update will knock it out. It's not on the app usage area since I already deleted It there, now it just shows an odd string of letters and numbers for the app title and won't obey the delete command from the home menu. Obnoxious bug Apple!

Yes, I can download and install other apps, but this one is not on the app usage list anymore (already deleted it there because the app would hit an error every time it tried to install an update), it is just a grayed out icon with a name that is a string of letters and numbers and yet it is taking the place of the legitimate Netflix install. In the app store it thinks it is still installed. Deleting from the long press, play pause, delete method doesnt do a darn thing.

Do other apps/games download and install?
