I have an Apple Tv 4 and i can't download netflix, I had the app, but I uninstall and when I try to install again does`t complete de process an a message saying Unable to download app appears. Any suggestion on what to do?

I had the same issue and resolved it by logging out from the iTunes account in the Apple TV and logging back in. After trying many other things this resolved the issue. Good luck!

Does the ATV Region setting match the iTunes store you're downloading from?

Yes, both region settings are in Dominican Republic.

Are your region settings for ATV and iTunes consistent with your location? Is Netflix available at your location?

I'm in California and I'm having this issue as well.

It's up to date and I tried power cycling. Exact same issue. Netflix wouldn't load due to some Netflix server error. I deleted it, but now can't reinstall it.

I had to reset to factory defaults. Pretty annoying.

I had the same problem and the same solution worked for me. Logout and login to iTunes account from Settings, and tried again and the download worked. Thanks for the tip!

I Think I'm going to do this as well once the TV provider single sign on update hits, I just can't bring myself to re-do all of that one by one.

Have you tried restarting the ATV, from Settings > System?

Download is only for portable devices. I can download to my ipad and iphone, but cannot watch using Apple TV or Chromecast.
