Unable to boot to bootcamp after partitioning El Capitan
Hi Loner T,
I have recently partitioned the drive where OSX El Capitan is currently installed. Now, upon pressing the Option Key on start up, I cannot select my Bootcamp partition to boot.
Here is info re: my product:
Here is information re: my volumes:
- I have OSX installed on a partition 'Macintosh SSD' in a 500GB SSD
- Files are on a partition 'Macintosh HD' in a 1TB HDD
- I have Windows Bootcamp installed on an NTFS partition 'SOLID' in the same 500GB SSD
- and another NTFS partition for Windows Files 'LIQUID' in the same 1TB HDD
- I also have a new partition (which lead to my very problem) 'ScratchDisk' in the same 500GB SSD
Both 'SOLID' and 'LIQUID' NTFS partitions are currently read-only i.e. "Owners: Disabled" in Disk Utility after having created a new partition 'ScratchDisk' for Photoshop in the same 500GB SSD, and SOLID won't show up on start up after pressing the 'Option key'.
I previously had Tuxera NTFS installed but uninstalled it.
Hereunder you will find the following information:
- diskutil list
- diskutil cs list
- sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
- sudo fdisk /dev/disk0
I thank you for patience and kindness from beforehand,
Cesco
