🙂 IN addition to this problem more clarification although I have late 2011 and 17 inch my problem is still same.
Internal DVD is broken so using other external DVD writer compatible with Mac I had tried with....
if i use Windows 7 or 8.1 DVD it shows blank screen. It does not shut down neither it goes any further.... Even though I use it with Boot camp assistant or doing partition with disk utility partition......
secondly if if I do bootable Usb for 7 still it does not recognise by Bootcamp and end up with black screen.....
if i bootable usb 8.1 or Windows 10 I know 10 is not supported but still it goes uptill partition page and it shows Windows can not install on MBR and GPT partition error......😮 Even though that disk is in GPT formate as I check with other software to convert in GPT it shows its already in GPT formate.....
where as as if totally forgetting and went with Bootable USB of Windows 8.1 or 10 as fresh partition after making partition at start of installing MAC for Capitain or even in old Maverick 😉 it goes to certain level and when it should suppose to finish 🙂 at that level error pop up saying Windows can not update bootcamp configuration and it will cancel the process......... 👿
In all tried I came to conclusion Mac has updated something in its BIOS ➕ which either does not like Windows on USB and on second part DVD I can not tried as internal got outdated throwing every disk out...... Which was working till Capitain upgrading I know it's sound joke 😝 but in my case yes it's true.... 😟
Really Fed up so much that not even Mac genious couldn't try..... 😕 as much as I tried used every single option all the three Macerick, Yosomite and latest Capitain 👿
please anyone there have Bootcamp version please not don't go for upgrade u will loose windows forever and ever !!!!!!
If you feel something I forgot and u have tried and it works please share, but dont give advise if u not tried because I can make three partition Windows 10, sharing Data drive, on Capitain on 2016 model so I know what it should be done... If u stuck this problem and got solution then only share because my grandpa says "Nim Hakim, Khatere Jaan" !!! 😎
Meaning half genious is no use other than waste of others time Left with more angry mess !
Apple I know we are out of Warenty but we spend whatever money on that u have grown till today's Buisness it was poosible at time thats why we purchased and bought those machine since long so please help us to atleast go back to older path to work on what we had.😕..... Or find solution and revert back.....😊
