School issued iPad will not stay connected to home wifi.
Our iPhones, Mac, PC and home iPads are all connected (at home) and able to open web pages with any number of browsers. However, the two iPads that were issued to my kids for their school work keep presenting the error that the network connection was lost (in Safari) when trying to connect at home. I was able to connect last night to submit some of their assignments. Today, we tried to download an assignment but cannot get onto the internet.
I have done all of the following. I've gone into settings, chose our home wifi, chose to forget the network. Shut off the iPad. Unplugged the router and the modem, waited then turned them back on. Turned on the iPad, rejoined out home wifi network and tried to get onto the internet with Safari and the same thing happened...network connection lost.
I've read something about resetting the network settings, but I'm afraid that it will create problems when they go back to school and try to download their assignments there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
