I delete the email account *********.com and when I try and add it back in I get the message "This account already exists". See screen shot.
I did reboot after the deletion.

I assume that "It is not there" means the account... not the Library folder.

In the SMTP list, did you select "Edit list" and see if the server is in that list?

Just wanted to let you know that that I was able to re-add the email account yesterday. I am not sure what changed. Thank you for all of the assistance you provided.
