It is relevant to designers and illustrators, and it has been asked frequently on Apple forums for years but never answered.
Your issue is Apple "owned" fontfaces, and you got "permission" from a Microsoft employee? I am really confused
Don't be! Apple and Microsoft use many of the same fonts -- but each company has its own EULA.
And according to the chat I just had, Microsoft allows its users to work professionally with 'its' fonts. Apple may very well do so, too -- but I don't have any way of knowing that.
I repeat... if you are worried about the $$$, pay the $$$ to get YAC (CYA reordered)
Google " font agreement apple microsoft " + ??? = 2007 agreement to allow inclusion in each other's "software" releases"
A font is NOT a Font Face ("typeface") = it is complicated by economy = "can ( I ) prevail in a lawsuit?" = the "owner" is the current owner of the design of the face glyphs themselves
Can you contact Apple's legal team (and get a response)?
