OS 9 Support Dropped By ATI?

Just noticed, when attempting to access the ATI site to check on current software for Mac ATI video cards, that the new AMD/ATI site no longer provides download links for OS 9 drivers. Fortunately I have copies of the last OS 9 software updates applicable to my various video cards. Might still be able to get a link through VersionTracker.

Dear Dave,

Belated thanks for sending the driver installer in such a timely manner. I was waiting to see when and if I could drop the information that the installer has now been successfully uploaded to driverguide.com--which it now has. The January 2005 release is now available at driverguide.com as file atimacOS9_05-01.hqx. Readers of this thread may wish to seek it out there (or the other sources recently mentioned)... giving you and Carl B a much-deserved break. Thanks again, though!

Everyone,
I have finally got my hands on ATI Universal Installer 4.2, thanks to everyone who sent it to me. So that future readers of this thread won't need to ask for others to email them the software, I have put a page up on my site where you can download it. You'll find it at:

http://www.webologistdesign.com/software/atiuniversal.html

After having to find it for an eBay buyer earlier, I learned that it isn't easy, so I hope my efforts help some people find this.
