After updating my ipad2 from iOS 9.2.1 to 9.3 over the air I cannot connect to activation server and the latest version of iTunes can't recognize to activate

Exactly the same problem !!

Same for my iPad 2. Apple has a real problem, reminds me of Microsoft and their not testing before release. Apple needs to stop all downloads of 9.3 until it is fixed.

I have the same problem as well on my Ipad 2. Very frustrated. Every update there's a problem with this thing. Wasted too many hours already.

A Little different, but my ipad mini2 updated, with a couple extra restarts to get it to work. it does not remember my wifi pw and in settings shows to be connected, but it isn't in order to use email or wifi, the only way i can do is to restart and force connection and reenter pw for wifi. Worked perfectly until 9.3. Ipod touch and iphone 5c seem to be fine. and i have plenty of memory, somit is not a space issue. Apple needs a fix for this!!!

I finally was successful using iTunes recover my iPad. Wiped device and installed 9.3 again. I had previously removed iPad from iCloud with Find My iPhone. Setting apps etc. up now and making a new backup. Whew!

Same problem with an ipad2. When connected to iTunes it is unable to verify the device.

After I installed my iPad 2 to OS 9.3....it would not activate. I tried pretty much what everybody was recommending. No success.

Then I tried this and it worked for me!!!

The next step is to pretty much do a complete restore. Make sure you have a backup.

After the restore is complete, the ipad should work fine. Mine did!!

THanks, but there is obviously something wrong with this update that Apple needs to fix. Seems to be most of the issue is with the ipad 2 series.

Yes it is clearly an apple problem. You anyone wants to talk to Apple support and you have Twitter go on over and tweet to @applesupport they will respond straight away. I'm over there now hammering them about it. They have sent me a few DM's freaking out about what I'm tweeting but they have no solution so I'm not going to stop

Went to the Apple store and they tried to restore, but it got stuck. I'm now at home trying to restore to the Cloud Backup, but stuck again - keep getting the message "Cannot Restore Backup". What to do???
