My TouchID is not working, post the iOS 9.3 update yesterday. Doesn't work to unlock the phone, nor apps that use it. I disabled/enabled it. Re-setup my fingerprints, and no luck. Rebooting phone doesn't help either.
Did not backup phone prior to update. And have not tried doing a backup and restoring yet. Was hoping for a quicker/better solution (and also wanted to report this issue).
Any ideas?

Thanks THIS HELPED.... after turning iCloud off with contacts, photos etc and enabling find my iPhone the Touch ID IS NOW WORKING. Thank you so much
10.3 update fixed my "hardware issues". 🙂

The complete same is happening to me, but it was a while after I updated to 9.3, I just tried to update to iOS 10.3.3, and nothing happened
This worked for me, and I did not require the last step of adding a new fingerprint
